By Chris Stack – Jennifer Ghekas (Economics and Mathematics Double Major with a Business Administration Minor) recently accepted a job at Cerner after her graduation this spring. She will be a Business Consultant and will go through a four-week training program, called ops academy, starting in September.
She chose Cerner over other job offers due to the company culture and training program that they offer. She also appreciates the many opportunities to advance in her career at Cerner and work in different positions. This positions range from consulting to finance, human resources to business analysis and accounting to marketing.
She also enjoyed going through their interview process because of the emphasis Cerner places on informing candidates about the company, taking interviewees on a tour of the main campus in Kansas City, and socializing over a dinner out. She advises those that want to work with Cerner in the future to have fun during the interview process and take advantage of every opportunity that they present to you, such as on campus events, dinners and other events that they may have.
