By Jennifer Ghekas — Emily Scott, the current editor of Jewell Business Today, graduated on May 16, 2015 with Economics, Mathematics, and Applied Critical Thought and Inquiry (ACT-IN) majors and a Business Administration minor. She will begin working as an analyst at Montage Investments in Leawood, Kansas in the summer. Emily has been writing for the publication since her freshman year, and has been the managing editor since her sophomore year at William Jewell. Emily’s favorite part about Jewell Business Today was, “helping the underclassmen get involved with a business organization on campus. Jewell Business Today is a very inviting organization that anyone can be involved with. As a managing editor, it was really fun to see a list of story ideas transform into articles in a publication.” The writers and staff of Jewell Business Today will miss Emily, and her work and dedication, which have led to a successful past three years for Jewell Business Today.
