By Emily Scott – On April 22, 2012, Alpha-Lambda Chapter of Delta Mu Delta, the international honor society in business, held its annual induction ceremony to welcome new members to the chapter and celebrate their outstanding achievements.  The ceremony took place in the Grand River Chapel where Dr. Jean Hawkins provided a warm welcome. President pro tem Courtney Wilmsmeyer, and Secretary Sarah Horn presented the 2012 inductees: Senior Stephanie Zena Brown and Juniors Taylor Brown, Josiah Casey, Ronald Johnson, Rachel Klopstein, Nathan Kroeker, Paula Peterson, Christopher Reimer and Heather Walton.  The inductees repeated the Delta Mu Delta pledge and were initiated as lifetime members of the chapter.

Dr. Anne Dema, William Jewell Provost, was also initiated as an honorary member of the chapter. To conclude the event, graduating senior members of the chapter were recognized and presented with ceremonial Delta Mu Delta cords to wear during graduation.

Chapter members will reconvene in the fall to decide the 2012-2013 officer positions for the chapter.
